Barbara Coulam creates these beautiful glass donuts by repurposing empty and discarded glass bottles. The donuts are not sharp or scratchy to touch and despite their appearance are robust enough to use in jewellery designs. The pieces remind us of sea glass and with a little imagination, they can be made into very contemporary looking jewellery. Try them on their own as pendants or string them together. Please be aware that they are donuts, which means they are not drilled. Each piece is unique and because they are made from recycled glass, they have minor imperfections in their shape and finish. This is part of their charm.
