ONE PAIR of 925 silver earring studs / posts AND backs to fit HALF-DRILLED PEARLS or other half drilled beads which you can also find on this site. Overall length of stud front to back is 13mm, the portion that goes through your ear is 10mm.  The cups on these studs are 5mm diameter and so fit beads 6mm upwards.  Please do not choose these studs for 4mm beads as cups are too large. 

Simply place suitable glue on cup and peg, push on half-drilled pearl and wait until dry. 

Please note: depth of hole in half drilled beads can vary, so you may need to trim the peg slightly with wire cutters to correctly seat the half drilled bead on the cup.

One packet of 3 turquoise beads - they are semi-precious gemstone natural turquoise, dyed to give this beautiful green/blue colour.   The beads measure approx. 30mm along the threading hole, about 25mm across it, and are about 5mm thick (but they do vary in size and shape so these measurements are only approx).  They are flat sided so they hang beautifully. They are gorgeous organic shapes and have nicely rounded edges - not sharp or jagged.   They are matrixed - which gives them a stunning antique look and will add tremendous wow factor to any piece they are used in.

Pack of 6 sturdy, good quality, sterling silver calottes, also known as bead tips or clamshells.  The hole in each calotte, which your thread/cord passes through measures 0.036" in diameter (ie a little under 1mm), so most beading threads will fit comfortably.   

A calotte is a metal finding which covers a knot or finishing at the end of a string of beads.  To use with beading thread, tie a knot around a seed bead and add a drop of glue or clear nail varnish to secure your knot, then gently squeeze the two halves of the calotte together to close and thus hide your knot.  To use with beading wire, crimp your wire as usual, making sure the crimp is small enough to fit inside the calotte and then gently squeeze the two halves of the calotte together so the crimp is hidden.

Two metre continuous length of 0.38mm (0.015") gauge nylon coated stainless steel bead stringing wire.  The wire is supplied off the spool and every care will be taken to avoid kinks.  This is a great buy if you don't want to outlay for a full spool!  You can buy this wire on a 9.2m spool if you need larger amounts of it.

This wire is softer than Tiger Tail and more supple for a smoother drape.  Beadalon 7-Strand encases 7 strands of fine-diameter stainless steel wire within a kink-resistant nylon coating.  It is abrasion resistant for longer lasting stringing results.  Beadalon 7-Strand holds its shape, is easy to work with, very strong, and renders secure jewellery that lasts.  It is appropriate for most general beading and craft designs.

One strand of freshwater blister pearl beads. The strand measures approx. 39cm in length and there are approx. 50 beads per strand. The beads vary a great deal in shape and size - some beads being very similar to large chunky nuggets, others with long tails.  Roughly however they measure 7-10mm along the threading hole (which is at the top of the pearl) and 10 - 18mm long vertically. The occasional pearl can be 25 - 30mm long.    These are gorgeous pearls which have been plated to give this AB metalllic lustre.
